Exhibits and Interactive Displays

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Come early to enjoy a hot beverage, browse the wide array of exhibits and interactive displays, see the latest technology, including meeting Dr. Lillian Hung and ‘Paro’ as seen on Global News.  

Exhibitors include Seniors First BC, the BC Association of Community Response Networks, Family Caregivers of BC and United Way of the Lower Mainland.

  • Spin the wheel at the Alzheimer Society of BC table to learn and a receive a chance to win a prize. 
  • Sound Off Canada Western will be leading a guided meditation using their special headsets. 
  • Do you have nutrition questions you've always wanted to ask to an expert? Now's your chance! Visit Loblaw’s Registered Dietitians, Jessica and Nolan, at their booth to learn about eating well for healthy aging. Their interactive display will feature a protein educational activity, recipe ideas, and tips on how to get enough calcium and vitamin D. Each visitor will be entered into a draw to win one of two nutrition consultation packages, valued at $150 each.

The researchers will be available in the exhibit area to talk about their work and opportunities to get involved in research projects.

We are  to confirm that the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) will provide Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) for the panel presentation. CHHA invites you to stop by their table and take  fun trivia game.  CHHA is a voluntary, self-help association of persons with hearing loss.
